I have known Di for about five years. I was introduced by a mutual friend who recommended her; my friend had been really impressed with Di's wealth of knowledge. 

I had just started "trying" to do something again with my fiery, little spitfire - a part-bred Arab, chestnut mare. A project involving the complete renovation of my new house had meant that it had been a long time since Cassie and I had done anything other than snatching a quick hack here and there. With more time on my hands, I wanted to go back to competing, if only to keep my horse fit and supple - she was now in her teens. 

After our first lesson with Di, we were both hooked! Within minutes, Di had summed up Cassie and me, and she had decided on an appropriate approach. If anything, each subsequent lesson has been even better. It is always clear that Di has spent time thinking about the lesson in advance, and has come up with a number of different techniques and exercises to help us achieve the aims of the session, and work towards our long-term goals. Any training session with Di leaves you enthusiastic to learn more and improve.

Cassie and I have made considerable progress. My "unexploded bomb" is by no means perfect, but the work we are now producing is well beyond what I ever thought we could achieve.
